2. What we collect

We collect only the information we need to operate this website, respond to enquiries and deliver our services. Specifically:

  • Contact enquiries: name, email address, phone number and the message you send us via forms, WhatsApp or email.
  • Client engagement data: business name, GST number, billing address, contact persons and any project-specific information you share with us during a paid engagement.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages visited and timestamps — collected automatically when you visit this site.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: a small number of cookies used for basic session handling and, where enabled, aggregated analytics.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18 through this website.

3. Why we collect it

We use the information above for the following purposes and no others:

  • To respond to your enquiries and follow up on service conversations you initiate.
  • To deliver, invoice for and support the services you have engaged us for.
  • To operate, secure and improve the Infrabyss website.

4. Legal basis

Depending on the interaction, our lawful basis for processing your data is one of the following:

  • Contract: when you engage Infrabyss for a paid service, we process data to perform that contract.
  • Legitimate interest: to run and secure our website, respond to enquiries, and improve our services.
  • Consent: where you opt in to newsletters, marketing communications or non-essential cookies.
  • Legal obligation: to meet Indian tax, corporate and regulatory requirements.

5. How long we keep it

  • Contact enquiries: retained for 24 months from your last interaction, then deleted.
  • Client engagement data: retained for the duration of the engagement plus 7 years thereafter, to meet accounting and tax record-keeping requirements under Indian law.
  • Technical / website logs: retained for up to 12 months for security and diagnostic purposes.

6. Who we share it with

We share your data only with the following categories of third party, and only to the extent needed:

  • Infrastructure providers — email, cloud hosting, backup and communication services we use to operate.
  • Payment and accounting providers — for issuing invoices, collecting payments and filing tax returns.
  • Professional advisors — auditors, tax consultants and lawyers, where required.
  • Statutory authorities — when we are legally required to share information in response to a valid legal request.

All third parties we work with are contractually bound to handle personal data in line with applicable law. We do not transfer personal data outside India except where the third-party service we use is hosted internationally, in which case the transfer is protected by that provider's own data-protection safeguards.

7. Security

As a cybersecurity provider ourselves, we hold our own environment to the same standards we recommend to clients:

  • Multi-factor authentication on every business email account and critical system.
  • Encrypted storage for sensitive data at rest, and TLS in transit.
  • Access to client and enquiry data limited on a least-privilege basis to team members who need it.
  • Regular patch cycles, endpoint protection and monitored backups.
  • A documented incident-response process, tested against real scenarios.

No system is fully immune. If we ever suffer a data incident that materially affects your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities in line with applicable law.

8. Your rights

You have the following rights over your personal data held by Infrabyss:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion — ask us to delete your data, subject to any legal record-keeping obligations.
  • Objection / restriction — object to certain uses of your data or ask us to restrict processing.
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Withdraw consent — where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@infrabysstechnology.com with the subject line "Privacy request". We will respond within 30 days. There is no fee.

9. Cookies

This website uses a minimal set of cookies:

  • Session cookies to enable basic site functionality — expire when you close the browser.
  • Preference cookies to remember your local settings, if any.

We do not currently deploy third-party advertising cookies on this site. If we introduce analytics or advertising cookies in future, we will do so with a consent banner and give you the ability to opt out.
